One of our members has complained that our home page seems to be cut off or moved to the left behind the menu. I am not seeing that, and we don't seem to have lost any pertinent information. Would you look at it and give me your opinion, and maybe a suggestion as to how we can improve it.

The problem is caused by the URL (link) you have in your announcement. There are no spaces in the displayable part of the link, so the browser doesn't know where to wrap the line. If you edit the announcement and change the display part of the link (what you see on the screen) to have spaces, (maybe after the domain name, after 3-4 more "/": and before the filename), your problem will go away. Or just change the displaying part to "Click HERE" if you want.
