Do you mean disable the service for your site, or exit an individual chat session?

I wanted to cancel my invite to the person. What happened was, the IM window was open and I IM'ed a classmate, who I thought was online. (Turns out, he forgot to log out of CC). Then my finger got to clickey and I clicked Private Chat; which I didn't want to do. I wanted to cancel that Private Chat invite and the classmate be none the wiser.

He'll see the invite. Just tell him you clicked in error.
