Deleting item from What's New Page

I posted a test item on our What's New page; then, I wanted to delete it. The "Delete" option appears in red; when I mouse on it, in the bottom left corner of my monitor I get a pop-up: "javascript:void(0)," and I cannot delete the item. I have tried this logged in as an administrator, yet nothing happens. Also, I thought that items posted on the What's New page would also populate on my personal PROFILE page, but I am not seeing that. Conversely, I did notice that what I posted on my PROFILE page in the What's New category did automatically appear on the What's New page. Most concerned about the ability to delete something from the What's New page; any thoughts?

Yes it is fixed now. In addition, post comments are showing again.
