How about adding a home page module that’s similar to the profile updates module but lists all website changes chronologically instead of just profile changes. It could be integrated into the profile updates module, or it could be a separate module.

Some changes are hard to find. For example, a subscription to a classmate’s profile doesn’t notify you when comments are added to the profile. While looking at a classmate’s updated profile recently, I just happened to see a month-old comment about my earlier comment. I could have easily missed it completely.

Stay tuned for the yellow shaded Profile Updates feature, as well as a new Notify Me! feature that will encompass your home page request and much more. We're in the middle of a massive system overhaul for at least then next 10 weeks so not much will be released between now and then, but the overhaul will make way for all kinds of cool stuff coming this winter.
