White Space with 3rd Party Plugin
Posted Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 7:33 PM
Brad and Crew, Ok, so this is not a major problem, but it is annoying me that I can't fix it! I just added a Revolver Map in an announcement on my homepage. There is a white margin in the right side of the globe that I can't get rid of, no matter what I try. I have tried it in a table and not in a table, but I can't seem to see in the code it self what to change to get rid of that white margin, Can anyone help? Thanks, Virgina

Virginia, I looked in Internet Explorer AND FireFox and didn't see any white space around the revolving globe image. I did notice a LARGE WHITE GAP near the top of your page - probably because of one (or more) announcements being too wide. I didn't fix it for you, but I could if you want me to.

Virginia, Could you tell me the site you went to in order to created the magnetic letter poster board that classmates can use to leave messages for the next person? Thanks. Please send your reply directly to izzett@oswego.edu

I am not sure why you couldn't see what I could see in IE8 (the white margin on the right of the globe). But I gave it another try this AM and put the globe in a table and then resized it, that seemed to do the trick! I didn't see the LARGE WHITE GAP you were referring to last night, but I did this morning. Through the process of elimination, it turned out to be one of the announcements that I hadn't touched since late June. How does that happen? Thanks for the quick response, as always with the CC crew and thanks for bringing my attention to the large gap. Virginia

Unfortunately I have no idea how something apparently in an announcement from June was affecting this. Probably just a temporal rift in the fabric of the time space continuum. It happens.
