For easy, excellent print screens, try Gadwin Printscreen (http://www.gadwin.com/printscreen/). It's a free download which I've been using it for years.

You can set it to capture whatever you draw a box around (Captured area = Rectangular Area). You also choose what format (default is bmp, which is what I use) and where it will save the image it creates. I have it set to "Copy captured area to clipboard" so I can paste the copied image and also "Copy captured area to file" so it automatically saves it as an image.

You can choose an existing folder on your hard drive for the images, such as My Pictures, or create a new folder for them. These images can then be uploaded into your Class Creator web site.

With Gadwin, you can quickly create images from anything on the computer, whether it's from a web site or something you create in Publisher, Scrapbook Factory, etc. I'm sure there are other free screen capture utilities, too, that work just as well.

Thanks for telling me about those! I'm still using Windows XP and I couldn't find Snipping Tool with all its features for XP except for drawing free-form around what you want, and it looks like Snagit needs to be purchased beyond the initial 30 day free trial. I'll look forward to a more complete Snipping Tool when I next upgrade my computer. Thanks!

Just a heads up on Snipping Tool. I downloaded it last week. Today my anti virus program caught some high risk keylogger spyware associated with it, so I deleted it.

Gosh, I guess I have had it about a year. Never caught anything with my virus detector. Thanks for the heads up, though.
