When I tried to add a deceased classmate it said i didn't have enough space to add it. I don't understand about that and what I do now to be able to add them. HELP?

Faye,

You can add the deceased classmate, but not any images. You have used up all of the available space you have with your Grandfathered site.

File Vault Space Used:    79.93 MB of available 25 MB (at 319.74% capacity)

In order to add an image of the deceased classmate, you would have to clean up some of your file vault and get rid of something to bring the file vault space used back down below 25MB of storage.

As a hint, most of your File Vault space is being used by MP3 files. If you delete these, it should bring you back down to about 25MB of storage. These files can be found on the Edit Site Pages, Edit Home Page, then click the LINK icon (3rd from right on 2nd row of icons)

Hi Faye,

In setting up your playlist, you exceeded your file vault space limit. If you want to add a classmate to the deceased list, you will be able to do so, but you won't be able to add any images or files to their entry until you delete approximately 55MB (at least) of files from your vault.

Hi Kyle, (and Eric I guess). Anyway, if I take off my music player in the front page will that give me more room so I can add a picture? So what you are saying is I need to upgrade to the new system and pay yearly, is that correct? I'll do what kyle said and delete those items and see what that gives me. thank you for you always promptness. I appreciate it.

When you delete the Widget Music Player, it doesn't automatically delete the saved music. If you delete the MP3 files but leave them in the music player, the music player won't work.

so what should i do to get enough space, short of buying an upgrade?

Kyle was just saying that to regain the space, delete the music files. Before you do that, you'll need to also remove the music player. Removing neither the player nor the files will remove the other, but if you leave the player up and remove the files the player will not work, so it is better to remove the player first.

Kyle,
I'm trying not to be a hard case here but I apparently didn't do something right. I thought I cut out the player and now I have all the mp3 songs gone. What else have I failed to do right? Thanks so much for your help. Faye

Faye,

When I look at your Gallery Creator page, scroll down, I see this,
Currently storing 13.74 MB of available 25 MB (at 54.97% capacity).

You should have enough space to add your deceased classmate's photo now.

Why do you think you failed to do something right? Are you still getting the error? If so, please repeat the exact error message you are receiving.
