I'll bet I have the oldest photo of any graduating class of any subscriber on ClassCreator. The article that accompanies this photo gives the total history of Douglasville College (now Douglas County High School). It also includes individual "photos" (hand-drawings)of each graduate. This is from an article published on June 8, 1893.

Brad and Team, you guys have provided us with the ability to share these treasurers that would have been lost otherwise. Sometimes I think just paying the subscription fees to CC is not enough.

There are no words to thank y'all enough.

That's brilliant, Cheryl. I bet you've started something now. You beat me by two years. 1895 was the oldest for my school that I've come across. Even then I'm cheating a little as this photo shows the school under its old name.

Port Huron High School's first graduating class in 1869. 24 years before your image was sketched.

Dadgumit! I thought surely I had won this one! Isn't CC a wonderful motivator for us to go digging and sharing? I get so excited when we find such great history on our school and can bring it back to life for so many to enjoy!

I bow to Port Huron! Congratulations and thank you for sharing with us. (But, I do have the oldest living classmate subscriber, 1924 class. She'll be 104 in October.) Very Happy

You sure win on that one, Cheryl! And congrats to your subscriber.

As a single year CC client, we'll have to wait until 2043 before our first members hit the century mark!

Wonder what the features of CC will be then? Teleportation? Virtual Reunions? Time Travel back to graduation day?
