Announcement Board Background Color

You can now control the background color of your Announcement Board. Just click your Post Announcement link and you'll see the new color picker there.

Hi Brad- every day I open our site and I'm thrilled with the new adds. Thanks so much to you and your team for their hard work. I hope you're all having fun.

Question about the announcement background color. I love the option, and went in to change our announcement background to navy blue, our main school color. When my black text didn't show well with the navy background, I changed the test color to white. However, the 'Announcement' line at the top remains in black and hard to see. I don't see an option for changing the text color on that pre-programmed word. Any suggestions?

We just added a way to change the Announcement Header color - it is in the Post Announcement area right under the Announcement Background color.

CAN YOU CHANGE THE LOCATION OF THE ANNOUNCEMENTS BOARD FROM BOTTOM TO THE TOP?

Yes you can.

1) Click Edit Site Pages
2) Click the Edit button next to Home Page
3) Use the green arrow to move your Announcements to the top

I am having this same problem. I followed your instructions, but the announcement stayed at the bottom of the page with the Welcome to the Madeira High Class Of 1965 web site under the announcement and all of it at the bottom of the page.

Hard spaces. Check out this thread for answer. I removed the hard spaces from your Announcement while I was in there looking.
