I'm wondering if there could be a third option added to the Profile Preferences under Post "Message to Classmates".

I understand that a message can be sent from one Classmate to another using the Message Center and that may be the only way to keep it private, but I have had several comments from Classmates requesting that a private message be an option when commenting on another Classmates profile page. Perhaps a comment paragraph stating that Profile comments are public and if a private message is desired use the Message Center. Seems like a duplication, but I told them I'd ask.

The current options are:
PROFILE PREFERENCES

Post Message to Classmates

1. Allow Classmates to post a message for all classmates to read on their Profile.
2. Do not allow Classmates to post messages to other classmates on their Profile.

The other private message option while on someone's profile resides under the profile picture where it says Send a Private Message to XXX . When using the other fields on the page, the posts are open to the class to see.
