You can replace the candle by editing your In Memory page, clicking the Source button, and then pasting in this code:

Your title seems fine, but just curious, is there a reason you're not using the built-in In Memory functinality? With the built-in system the page as a whole is nicely organized, each person gets their own In Memory entry, and Calssmates are able to share memories of those who have been lost. On many sites the In Memory area is one of the most frequented areas of the site.

We wanted to add teachers and counslers as well as classmates to the memory page.

You can add teachers and counselors as guest members. Then you can add those guest members to the In Memory page. All of the guests will appear in their own section below the classmates and sorted by year they passed away. You can have "(Teacher)" or "Counselor" after their last name if you want. This way, classmates can leave messages about the teachers and counselors.
