The edit message function for user forums is not working properly for some posts. Works for others. When i click on "edit message" it the sytem believes I am trying to post a new message/reply. Help.

That message has been deleted, so I can't see it.

Cannot reproduce the problem.

It may have been due to a message with pasted HTML content interfering with the operation of the page.

Can you point out another thread that is still on the site for which this problem is happening?

However,things look better today, i was able to open a new forum where things appear to be back to normal, ie. posts can be edited when you click "edit message"
For the post above where the problems persists, when you click on edit message, a post reply screen opens with blank contents.
