When I activated the donations module, it set up fine. When a donation is made, the PayPal screen shows a recurring donation check-box. However when you indicate an amount and do not check that box, the confirm screen says "recurring donation". This causes the giver to cancel the payment fearing they have done something wrong. Can this dialog be changed or if not can the donation be non recurring?

The checkbox is provided by PayPal. It is labeled "Make This Recurring (Monthly)" so that if someone is paying a bill monthly for the same amount, they can make a monthly payment.

Yes, donations can be made without checking the checkbox.

I don't want my members to be confused by an inappropriate response from Paypal when the "make this recurring" box is NOT checked (it says "Timothy, please review your recurring donation". I either would like the confirmation dialog changed or be routed to a Paypal screen that handles non-recurring donations. Is this a change in the donation module, a setting or is it something I can change in Paypal?

Any changes would have to be done at PayPal, not ClassCreator

Scott, it is when you go to the confirm page that is the issue.
Try it and you will see...(You can back out without giving)

When you inquired with PayPal, did you explain that this is on the second page of their system that you were seeing this happen? We do not have any access to their system that would cause this to occur. I would have them log in and test from your site once to see this.

They said they were aware and that it was fixed and would be in the 10/23 release. I am willing to give them the couple of days to find out.

OK, I just checked out the donation dialog and it is corrected. If you do not check the "make this recurring" box, it now says "please review your donation" and if you do check the box it says "please review your recurring donation"

Glad it is all fixed.
