Any plan to create Android or iPhone fat client apps?

We've actually just been talking about this. We have a lot on the plate right now so we've been considering launching an app that for starters just displays the What's New page content in a mobile friendly fashion. From that page of course you can participate in a variety of ways without ever leaving the page. Once that's out the plan would be to add other important features to the app 1 by 1.

FYI in the meantime we are hitting 2015 running with the release of a new Event Planner, completely redone Donations system, and your own online store (in fact all 3 of these new items can now work together, which is really cool). Shortly after that we are launching a fundraising store as well complete with pre-stocked products. I'll have info on all of these items shortly. We'll do what we can to get an introductory app into the mix one these upcoming items are out the door.

A classmate messaged me the following: "For class website, my Motorola android is not compatible for our class website. Recently, I have tried to instant message and it won't let me. Tried to instal app from my phone and won't let me." Can you advise how I can respond to this classmate. Thanks.

The current Instant Message system requires the Adobe Flash plug-in. Flash is something that is starting to become less popular on smart phones, however, she may still be able to install it. Is she able to use the rest of the site or is it blocking her from doing other things? If so, we can set it to not attempt to use instant messaging on her login. I would need to know the classmates name (first initial and last name is fine) in order to make that change for them.
