I have a classmate whose computer was hacked and really messed up. She consequently has a new email address and has no more access to the previous email address she used before because it is no longer functioning.

"Forgot password" does not help. Can I just delete her profile and then set her up again with a new profile, without causing any problems as far as how the site works? She is eager to get reconnected with the class, but everything we've tried has been to no avail.

I think it would be a good idea to delete her profile and create a new profile for her. I did this for a classmate. In his case, he did not have any photos and a limited amount of info in his profile, so it was easy to recreate it.

Did you try to use "Manage Classmates" to change the email address?
