There is one classmate's profile on which there is no option to add a comment. This classmate also is having a birthday today because of this, he automatically appears on the What's New page; however the ability to add a comment for him is also not an option. No one will be able to send him a Happy Birthday message unless they send a private email.

There's an option on his Profile to not allow comments.

"Allow Classmates to enter comments on my Profile page"

I think he turned it off.

Yes that happens every once in a while, the classmate will turn off the option to receive comments for various reasons, or sometimes they just push the wrong button without knowing how it will effect the profile. I would call the classmate and ask if he/she wants to change it.

Seems to be an epidemic. I've had to email the class a couple of times asking "are you sure"?
Bonnie- you may want to email the class & remind them what this option really means. I think there may be others.
