I have a donate button in 2 places. I have tried to link the second ( homepage almost towards the bottom) to the side button, and the pay pal donation page, but I can't seem to get it to work. Can you help me here. I tried linking it, but that doesn't work.

Remove button #2 from the bottom of the page. Then follow the directions in this thread for adding a second PayPal Donate button to your home page.
