I have created a widget for a countdown clock and successfully added it to some of my site pages. However, it always appears left aligned. How do I get it to be centered?

If you place center tags around the code for the widget, it will center. < c e n t e r > < / c e n t e r > .. remove the spaces.

How do you left justify the widget. so it will look as if it is in line with the right modules.

If you mean RIGHT justify so it is vertically aligned with the right modules, you can't. The right-side modules are in their own container and none of the content in the middle container (your content) can be placed in the right-module container.
