Hi,
We have a huge list of names 58 years worth that we have 2 people putting names in. We are finding that by using the yearbooks, some names are being added twice, others have their incorrect graduating year on them. We are really not that concerned about their year being there as thankfully everyone is automatically in alphabetical order. Is there a way to have the years deleted, or must each student go into their profile and take that out?
Any suggestions?

It sounds like you have two people entering the classmates ONE AT A TIME. That is the slow way.

If the year is a mistake, the classmate (or admin) needs to edit the profile to remove/change it. The DOWNLOAD TEMPLATE has a column for "year of graduation".

You can't remove the class year on a multi year site, no. You can, however, elect to display all Classmates together on one long page if you want to. Up to 4,500 Classmates. If you attempt to add more than 4,500 Classmates our system will force you to divide your Classmate Profiles page into years. There's a variety of reasons for this:

1) More often than not, people prefer being able to click on their own year so they can see the list of Classmates they attended school with.

2) Structurally having over 4,500 names on 1 page is cumbersome and creates a lot of scrolling. We really didn't even intend to go with that many, but we compromised due to user requests.

3) Every time you load the Classmate Profiles page the system has to do a serious amount of database querying. Every little icon, etc. is all a query. When you start putting more than 4,500 names on a page the load on the system starts to become overwhelming.

For this reason year is required and cannot be removed on multi year sites.
