We have had a classmate, contact us with the following comments about the historical module information having errors in the historical facts information that was posted see below:

"I had to contact you about the history tidbits at the bottom of the Reunion site. ... Now I've seen a couple of minor goofs, a number of typos and the occasional poor sentence construction, but today takes the cake. It lists the Battle of the Coral Sea as 19 March to 9 May 1959. It was 4-8 May 1942 and as the first battle in history where the opposing sides did not see each other (air power).
take care
bill"

We are not sure where to go with the information to assist you all in making sure the information that is posted regarding historical facts is updated and corrected. Possibly you can take this and run with it or at least let me know what would be my next step to submit these comments to the appropriate persons to get this corrected.

Thanks in advance,
Emma Groppel Christensen

One of our admins is a history major. Let's just say that what you listed is just one of zillions of errors from the feed. So what we created our own year data.

For "This Day" this site is the best (embed in an iframe) http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/today/today.html

Unfortunately that site does not support https so can't be used on FB. Still looking for something as good that does support https.

CC has no control over them and it would keep them busy 24/7 fixing all the mistakes Evil or Very Mad

Hi Emma,

You might want to check out the new Rewind option added today. Brad added a post for it here: http://forums.classcreator.com/messages....C17-D1BE73AB70FD55CC
