Currently, we're able to use your storefront that's built into the Reunion Planner but I wonder if there is a likelyhood of having a plain storefront for non-reunion times? For example, we've got some leftover T-shirts from the last one that I'm trying to sell and if the schoolmates could just select an item rather than signing up for the reunion and using -0- as the number attending, it would be a real nice to have.

The storefront is in development now and will be launched early next year. The store will be able to run one of three ways:

1) Default: Simply turn on the store and your Classmates can purchase pre-stocked items to help support your class.

2) Custom: Add your own products to the store and build it out any way you want.

3) Default and custom: Allow your Classmates to purchase the default store items as well as your own custom added items.

This is a big undertaking so it's going to be awhile, but it's coming in Q1 of next year.

Just curious if this is still on your hit list of to-does.

Yes, but first ClassCreator 3.0 (fly-out menus, Notify Me, etc.) needs to be in place. All of the programmers are working on ClassCreator 3.0 issues right now. But the general store is still on the list.

Just wondering how things are moving along with 3.0 and more specifically the storefront.

Thx
George

Hi George,

Things are moving along, albeit at a slower rate than anticipated. We've built quite a sophisticated service here, and we've been upgrading it piecemeal as we are able. Improving existing features has taken priority over adding new ones, however, so the storefront is still on the horizon and not in the immediate future. We ask your patience and hope that the gradual improvements will meet your needs for the moment.
