I've got a classmate that has asked if her survey answers can be deleted so that she can re submit it. Is this possible?

Unfortunately, no. The only way to remove a survey response is to remove the whole survey and put up another one.

Thanks - this would be a nice feature enhancement to add to the wish list!

Beth, This is actually possible.... Go to Survey Maker Click on the STATS icon for the survey Scroll all the way down the page Click on "Show/Hide Members who have responded to survey (6)" link Click on the DELETE next to the classmate you want to delete the survey results. You can also edit their results.

Ahh. Sorry about that. That change must have slipped in without anyone letting me know.

I wonder why admins have the option to EDIT a classmate's survey answers? What is the point of that? That function adds a wrinkle to our plan for using the survey tool to run our association board member elections. Not a big deal, of course, unless the day comes when a classmate gets their nose bent out of shape and contests the vote... but I'm just curious why the EDIT choice exists. I understand why DELETE exists, but classmates have access to EDIT their own answers. When/why would an admin need to do this? Thanks, Terry Kyle Erickson wrote: Beth, This is actually possible.... Probably because "Why not?" or maybe "Just Because". Maybe when it was being programmed, it was just put there for consistency with what the classmates see.

Too funny, Kyle! But quite possible, I suppose. I'd propose eliminating the EDIT option, unless other admins have a logical use for it that I haven't considered? Low priority, of course. Thanks!

It could also be for long comments in survey results - for the admin to fix spelling mistakes. I am not against that use because it just makes the classmate look smarter because they know how to spell.
