What is the suggested procedure to verify that someone is not a hijacker? I have someone who wants to sign up but all they give me was an email. Is there a thread for this?

I just send them an e-mail saying that more information is needed in order to verify them. If they provide a phone number or address, there is a Reverse Search function at www.whitepages.com that can verify who the phone number belongs to (if not a cell phone). There is also a reverse lookup for Address which sometimes works. If they provide a photo, that also helps.

I am using the verfy feature. I think I will just email the person and ask for a phone number. That seems simple.
