I uploaded a yearbook photo. Later I decided it was incorrect and tried to load a new one. After I uploaded the new one and did a save, I looked at it in the Classmate's profile and it's the old photo. Almost as if it's pulling it from a buffer somewhere. I know the new photo is being pulled in because when I looked a it on disk and it is the new photo.

You are probably having a browser caching issue. Before uploading the image, change the filename slightly - append a number or something. The browser remembers the file name of the old classmate image and displays that image. If the filename is a different name, the browser will know that it needs to get the current image and display that image.

You could also try viewing it in a different browser or deleting your browser's cache (temporary internet files)
