I can not find where I could restrict a single user from posting in the forum?

You cannot restrict a classmate from posting, but you can have all of their postings moderated. Click on User Forums, then Members, then edit the member you want and choose YES for Moderate Topics and Moderate All Posts. Moderate Topics No Yes Forum Default

This is great news! I had full monitoring set up on the User Forums, because of problems with one classmate. I'm guessing that changing his status in User Forums will not affect his status in Message Forums?

Ruth, That is right. Message Forum and User Forums are totally separate systems.

I have a classmate under moderation and want to remove that restriction (return him to defaults status). The page is not letting me do that. I can go to the forums page, and select users and click his name -- it lets me click the defaults radio buttons, but when I then click the Save, all I get is the dialog goes blank. I should add that this failure is on Windows XP/SP3, on both Firefox 3.6 and IE 7. On Firefox, the Send button is simply a black outline -- no image/word in it.

This was fixed by a "CONTACT US" submission. It should now be resolved.
